1644: Louise de Marillac wrote: “I pray that you will love each other and have great care, both for patients of the hospital and for you yourself in particular” .

1863: Another four Daughters of Charity depart to Guatemala to reinforce the group arrived in previous year.

1915: Visitation of first aid rooms organized in France for wounded soldiers in Daughters of Charity houses and various other centers where sister were invited begun.

1955: Fr Charles-François Jean died in Paris in the age of eighty-one and fifty-eight years of priesthood. Most of his priesthood he spent at the Alberoni College and Maison-Mere in Paris. He was author of seventeen works and some sixty articles published in journals. He was devoted to oriental studies in order to improve understanding of the biblical texts and to prepare seminarians.
