1654. St. Vincent de Paul preaches his conference on silence at Maison St.Lazaire. It was continued on March 6.

1859. Fr. Antoine Fiat CM, takes his vows at Montpellier, where he has been Holy Scripture professor since July 1858.

1916. Fr. Joseph Maria Angeli dies in Paris.

1942. Father Van Ravesteijn, a naval chaplain on board the torpedoed cruiser, Java died. One of the survivors remarked: “He sustained the courage of the men and he prayed.”
