1936 In 1936, the last Vincentian missionaries of the so-called “Martyrs of the Central House”, are shot and killed in Madrid. They are: Brothers Gil Belascoain, Joaquin Zubillaga, Estanislao Paramo, and Frs. Jose Ibanez, Hilario Barriocanal, jose Santos, Benjamín Ortega. And in Paracuellos of Jarama (Madrid), Fr. Victoriano Reguero is shot and killed.
