1651: Conference of St. Vincent for first Daughters of Charity about conditions of good confession.
1762: 13th Assembly General ends in Paris. There were 36 delegates taking part in 9 sessions. New Superior General — Fr. Antonio Jacquer — was elected by 31 votes. From the new Superior General, the Assembly demanded deeper care for retrieving original spirit of the community, and exact respect of Rules and Vows.
1897: Three Daughters of Charity depart for Fort Dauphin on Madagascar to help 4 young nuns — “lay missionaries”– there. The separate province was erected in 1902. In 1963 48 Malgashi nuns, educated by our Daughters were fully incorporated to the community.
1900: Reliquies of Francis Regis Clet were recognized in the motherhouse due to his beatification.
