1656: The Conference of St. Vincent in Saint Lazare about humility. He talked about motives that Congregations takes to achieve true humility.

1666: In Paris, Fr Renee Almeras signed contract with Msgr Denis de la Barde, bishop of Saint Brieuc who turned foundation of diocesan seminary into hands of Lazarists. This is the third seminary staffed by priest of the Mission in Breton. The first two in Saint Méen and Tréguier were taken by St. Vincent himself. According to the contract three prests and two brothers staffed the seminary in Saint Brieuc. Fr Donat Cruoly was appointed first Superior.

1736: After thirteen sessions the 10th General Assembly comes to an end in the Motherhouse in Paris. 35 delegates elected new, the 7th, Superior General — Fr Jean Couty. They also demanded to recall certain points of Rules of the Congregation to be no longer neglected, new province of Naples derived from province of Rome was erected and special tax from every house of the Congregation was introduce to meet current needs of Saint Lazare.

1830: Archbishop of Paris, Msgr Jacques Louis de Quélen announced people of his diocese, the corps of St. Vincent de Paul will be transferred to the chapel in Maison Mere on Sunday, April 25.
